The Hackers Tournament was established as a three-day competition between friends to decide who could best walk the line between extraordinary golf, debauchery, and over-indulgence. What started as a dream, 8 pioneers, and a goat track in rural Ontario, has become the pinnacle of championship golf for more than a few amateur golfers subsiding in the area of Metro Detroit and abroad.

Humble Beginnings
The esteemed trophy has a rather muddled history. However, based on indentations found along the base, it was determined that the trophy originated in the small town known as "Mount Clemens". Once served as the honorary award given to the inebraited athletes who were crowned victorious in the sport of hockey
Lost in History
How the trophy came to its current occupation is a bit of a mystery. It is belived that many, many years after WWII, the trophy was unearthed by longtime competitor, Jonathan Miscavish. Who then brought the trophy back to its former glory. The Chalice became synonymous with the spirit of the Hackers. Passed from champion to champion, each having their name forever etched into history.
The Crown Is Yours
Only once in Hackers history has the trophy not been passed from the seated champion to the new victor. During the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, trustworthy monuments men were hard to come by. Thus, the trophy never made it to the hands of Ox and Chayse for another month after their victory. Starting the new tradition of crowning the winners in Burger King crowns.
A Trophy With A Name
After the trophy was reclaimed, a suiting name for the trophy emerged. The Chalice of Malice. Named so because of seated champions reluctance to let go of her. They even blame the trophy store when its obvious they were inattentive to their duties.
